In Arizona, the temperature is always warm. If you're the type of person who feels healthier and happier when you have color on your skin, then we assume you like to go and expose your skin to direct sunlight. Sunlight exposure is the best way to help your body absorb Vitamin D, which is vital for your immune system. Now, if you have explored our sun products, you might wonder whether sun oil lubricants are safe.

When to Use Sun Oil Lubricants

This type of sun product must be applied 30 minutes before you go out and expose your skin to the sun. You should apply a generous amount to all exposed areas of your skin. We recommend applying enough oil so you get adequate protection while getting tan.

Although our sun oil offers protection, you must not fall asleep in the sun. It is always a bad idea. Instead, seek shade and you must re-apply the oil throughout the day. This is especially true if you are swimming or perspiring profusely.

How Does Sun Oil Protect Your Skin?

Sun oil still protects your skin as it still contains SPF. However, it does not offer the same protection as sunscreen, which has higher SPF. You can say that sun oil accelerates the tanning process. In this way, you don’t have to stay in the sun for a longer period just to get some color.

However, just because our sun oil has some protection, you must still limit your sun exposure. Keep in mind that even with sunscreen, the sun’s rays can still penetrate your skin to a certain degree. But it won’t cause sunburn.

What Other Sun Protection to Use?

In addition to applying sun oil, you should also consider a lemon lip balm with higher SPF. Keep in mind that while you’re getting bronze skin by exposing yourself to the sun, you’re also displaying your lips.

Unfortunately, your lips are not resistant to sun damage. In that case, they require sun protection. This is why we decided to include Lemon Lip Balm in our list of sun protection products. It has SPF 15 to protect your lips against too much sun exposure. You can use it to hydrate, nourish and moisturize your lips. It also protects your lips against the summer sun in Arizona and winter winds.

And if you are getting in the water for your swimming workout, consider our SPF 45 oil-free water-resistant spray. It offers broad spectrum coverage. It means that it can protect both UVA and UVB rays. Because it does not contain any oil, it is non-greasy. There’s no mess when you spray your body and face with this product. What’s more is that it contains natural ingredients, including cacti.

On the other hand, if you need to relieve your skin from the painful effects of sunburn, then consider our sunburn relief. That you can find here along with our sun oil lubricants.
